I taught 1 year of ESL back in '02 so I'm eager to return. It can certainly have drawbacks but if one is adaptable, doesn't mind leaving and having a garage sale for the year it's awesome. Typically you get paid housing and a free ticket and 1 month's extra salary if you complete your contract. Just be sure to get your TEFL. =)

I have to admit my main interest in Deconstructing Harry is the fact that he is a writer ;) My favorite of Woody's so far (there are a couple I've yet to see) is Purple Rose...and I always get crap for it.
