Haha...I had some film history classes in college, and he'd give us a list of the movies to mark that we had already seen. He sort of had to ignore mine, cause I had seen about 98% of them. I made it through the AFI Top 100 movies. Now, I have a weird goal of watching every movie nominated for an Oscar, which is impossible since some early ones are lost, and alot of the shorts can't be found, but I will watch all that I can find.

I liked both Shanghi Knights and Noon, they were both quite funny in their own respect. I liked the twists in humor from the two movies. Noon had some great western film references and Knights did the same thing tying them to some great British humor.

Oh and yes i love Bresson's other works, just havent seen all of them that i should. I did vote on the other directors lists you had too, at least those i already saw ;) ta-da

Ooh you were a busy bee :) Excellent i went through all of them now and voted on those i saw, were quite a number of them i didnt previously notice in the database or simply forgot to vote on them, done now :) Oh and a Merry Xmas (even if you dont celebrate it) and a Happy New Year 2008 to you Nathalie :) Hopefully i'll see more movies next year, this second half of 2007 was totally neglected by me, have a large viewing queue now of movies i must see and they're getting bigger and bigger by …

Haha your the only one commenting on my thing. And I've liked the majority of French movies I've seen, but I don't think I can ever say any movies are better then American. I'm just a huge fan of people like PT Anderson, Coen Brothers, Scorsese, Nolan, and others. My fav movie is Eternal Sunshine and that was made by a French director though.

Yeah still, havent seen any movies since i wrote that, but i have it so it'll come sooner or later on my viewing menu :)
