Yes, it was pretty eventless but still pretty enjoyable. Lots of coffee and just hanging around the house.

Hi Allison!
I guess that depends on what you think of "gut-punch" cinema in general. Have you seen Requiem for a Dream or The War Zone? United 93 has a similiar effect, I guess. If you can take feeling really, really bad or shaken after a film - then I think you should definitely see it, because it leaves an enormously strong impression.

Well i love French cinema too (the below mentioned Bresson along Godard especially) and i like some (North) American too, just not the Hollywood ones that most people list here (instead such directors as Hartley, Maddin, Cassavetes...) :P

Alli. I like french cinema but... Sometimes I found it a BIT pretentious.
Although, I really love french new wave, Cocteau and Buñuel's french period. Not very much into Bresson :0/
