exactly, sometimes people don't realize your potential or you have to work crummy jobs to get where you want to go. college was full of low paying jobs.

Not bad. I have Happy Gilmore somewhere on VHS and I liked Fargo. It's good you included Bottle Rocket.
I was thinking of doing a Top Films by Year list myself but yours is so good. I'm going to stick to doing a film list by director.
I started out by going through IMDB's Top 250 movies and that got me started. Film lists are good. I need to see a bunch of Best Pictures too. They have the lists of films that were nominated / won on Wikipedia.

yeah, i know i hate the commentary for EternalSunshine bc I can't understand what Michel Gondry is saying. But I like a mix of all kinds of films. My top favorites include American, British, French, German, and Spanish films. Probably even some other countries. But I am focusing on France, because I want to learn the language and bc something really strikes me about their culture that is wonderful. I think I'm just sick of American movies. Or rather I am more excited about French directors and French stars.
