Ghostbusters Review comment
I have to agree...I remember being very young and with my sisters and our friends and we were headed off to see Muppets Take Manhattan. That was sold out, so we saw "Ghostbusters" instead. What a great movie. Murray was a comedy god with the hellp and talens from Aykroyd, Ramis and Weaver. "It's true, this man has no penis" quote will go down in history....

Just Cause Review comment
i have to disagree, Just Cause is a good movie. If you're gonna compare it to the Silence of the Lambs, well than of course-this sucks. But it can stand on its own two feet. Just Cause was very well acted by all, the plot was good, but ran a little thin. And i can therefore see the predictability you mention. Sean Connery's character completly against the death penalty changed his mind when faced with a live or die situation. It's not one of the best, but I'll proudly display it in one of …

Superman Review comment
I have to agree, being a stong LDS memeber and a hugh superman comic collector, the 'Sup' is no Savior. Kryptonite wouldn't do a damn thing to the Great I AM. It would be a great short lived fight for the Man of Steel though...

I may have to check it out when it comes out on DVD...which should be in about 2 to 3 months. It seems like movies come out even quicker these days on DVD :)

You've actually been to Daejeon?!? What brought you over here? From what the guys who have been here since back in 80's tell me, the country is practically unrecognizable. The cowboy-ness of a rapidly developing country is mostly gone now, though soju remains a national pastime. Good times. My students tell me there's a huge generational gap in the thinking between them and their parents.

Actually, Kal-el means something like "God's voice" in Hebrew. The "-el" suffix is common in the names of angles (Gabriel) and means "godly" or "from god." Superman, from the start, always had this kind of Chariots of Fire angle to him.
