Actorz Alert 015- Johnny Depp comment
Whether he is a swash-buckling Pirate or in another crazy Tim Burton flic, Depp is an amazingly gifted character actor. Perhaps no one out there is more unpredictable in his movements and added dialogue. I look forward to his future works and here are my rankings of his past accomplishments:

Leadin' Ladiez' 022- Sally Field comment
Hard to believe the bubbly girlfriend of Burt Reynolds in the 70's would turn into such a powerful actress in Hollywood, but that is exactly what Sally Field did....from Normae Rae to Mrs. Doubtfire....what a career it has been for the multi-talented actress.........

Lastin' Legendz 001- John Wayne comment
I grew up watching John Wayne and even though only a few would crack my soon to be released Top 500 (The Searchers, Green Berets and perhaps The Quiet Man), I still was amazingly entertained in all of his movies. Here are my favorites of The Duke:

Actorz Alert 004- Tom Hanks comment
You could make an argument that Mr. Hanks joins Mrs. Streep as the most accomplished actor of the last two deades.........a long way from "Bosom Buddies" for sure........a master in comedy that propelled his career and made a great success at the box office; Hanks has been ever bit as successful in drama as well...one of the greatest of all-time....here are my favorite works of his:

Actorz Alert 018- Sean Connery comment
The near 80-year old actor hasn't done anything since 2003...but for almost 40 years he was at our near the top of the box office elite.....he will always be the real James Bond to me (although I liked Brosnan and now Craig's take on 007) and I was entertained in just about every movie I ever saw him in............here is my Top 10 list.........

Actorz Alert 011- Robert Downey Jr. comment
Had it not been for his addiction to drugs, we quite possibly could be talking about the greatest character actor of our generation.......I am just hoping now that he has cleaned up he is not just selling out on us and not taking the more demanding roles.....hopefully "The Soloist" suggests not.....here are my favorite movies of this amazing talent........

Directorz> Cut 022- Robert Zemeckis comment
Also a writer and producer including in most of his directorial pieces, Robert Zemeckis has an imagination like no other director. From Forrest Gump to the anticipated A Christmas Carol project with Jim Carrey..what he puts on the screen is nothing short of magical...........here are my favorites:

Directorz> Cut 017- James L. Brooks comment
Brooks is an amazing writer who has only directed 5 movies (he is currently working on one right now and it is really hush hush)- but his quality of work is so good that all your seasoned actors line up when they hear he is going to do another.....here are his 5 movies that have his remarkable stamp on them as he did the screenplay as well.....that is what sets him apart from others- the writing is masterful.....
