I agree on the points regarding the action too long. It really looked great on 3D, but the building scenes (much similar to the sinking Titanic) were extensive. I wished John Malkovich had more scenes though.

Green Lantern Review comment
I agree with most of your points; however, i am a comic book fanatic and simply loved Amanda Waller being introduced. I got the same feeling when Pam Grier portrayed her in t.v. Smallville. Great movie, absolutley not...but nothing can top a child's imagination of how a super-hero's life should be. You can't just put it on film and epect it to work. There's no comparison.

Good Films that are Hard to Watch More Than Once comment
I think "The Passion of the Christ" should also be on this list. It is a great movie that everyone should see at least once. I can only watch it once every two or three years around Easter. It is so powerful and moving, but also so heartbreaking and emotional.

I would consider anything I rate 3 stars and above as a definite recommendation - maybe "must watch" is a bit strong "should watch" may be a better choice.
