Totally agree with you on awards. I tried to see as many of the 'award worthy' movies this year, before the Golden Globes/Academy Awards. And it seems that I've mostly succeeded. It's been a good year of movie watching, for me, because I've seen way more good films than bad.

Comparing my list to yours, I find that we have some of the same films close to the top. The only thing that surprises me about this list is that you've only given out one '4 Star' rating this year.

I agree. I couldn't believe how good it was. If you give the 'Hunger Games' a thumbs up, I will make sure to check it out. I just am afraid of it being a romanticized and Americanized version of 'Battle Royale'.

Chris, thank you for your welcome. I am not on Facebook. Does this mean I am now? Hope not. You have some of my favorites on your movie list (# 6, 11, 12, and 13). I have to make up my list but will have to think about it.
