Music and Movies: Danny Elfman comment
When Danny Elfman is mentioned, the first movies I think of are Batman and Beetle Juice. Those are two of the most memorable movie scores, for me. He is a composer with a distinctly unique style.

Movies I Own Criterion Collection comment
Your Criterion collection Is just great! It looks even more diverse than mine. I see a lot of awesome titles, as well as some that I want in my collection. I'm curious to know which of these titles you own on Blu-Ray. If a certain title is available in Blu-Ray, then that's the version I buy.

I can't compare Dark Knight to Dark Knight Rises. Both films, and Batman Begins, are individually different and awesome in their own ways. This is one trilogy where I literally cannot put one film above the other. I like them all equally, but for different reasons. I'm usually not this indecisive on movies.

Moonrise Kingdom is also my favorite Wes Anderson film and my favorite film of the year, thus far. I'm looking forward to see it again, because I enjoyed it so much.
