The movie was much more than that. It was also how women were subjected to second or even third class citizen. Back in those times, it was very difficult to be a woman, so a lot of women went through extreme in trying to survive. I thought Glen Close Character was very good, she played the same role on a Broadway play, I thought she was good, but I wasn't convince to see her as a man. She was too stiff, unnatural, not real, and I fell sorry for her character, and how she ended it up losing …
