well i was a kid when i saw it. faye was a bit ancient for me, plus i remember her looking very witch-like. helen was hot as hell though. i'll never forget helen. ;)

I'll be the first to admit that American Beauty probably suffered from over exposure before I saw it, thus making it a huge let down to me. It just seemed like a Lifetime movie with Kevin Spacey and Annette Benning without much heart. As far as Guy Ritchie goes he's just a hack to me.
