Just an FYI we are working on getting a database of foreign films so we have slowed down on adding the requested ones. We figure it will be better if we just got a bunch more than to have our members have to request them one by one.

I like Bresson for the most part. But he does have his duds. I like his earlier works. Bunuel is probably a better director. He is in my top 5 or 10.

i think that maybe nazarin ripped off diary of a country priest a little. Bresson is really good. I love Bunuel though, but Bresson was the original. i love them both tho.

well about el aura and it being a dream, i interpreted it to mean something else (for me). when i re-read that an aura was supposed to be a moment when he didn't know if it was the past or future, it seemed that he was dreaming of the past in the beginning of the movie, before he got in the trouble that would cause him to commit the crime, like he still had a chance.
