I agree the memento is more mainstream. If my parents watch a movie and think it is good then it really isn't a cult movie buff film

Now hear me out, this isn't to say that these movies are, or are not, excellent or crappy, (example, loved Pulp Fiction, hated Casablanca) it's just when I hear "so-called" film buffs start blabbing on about movies (meaning, the more they speak, the more you know they are clueless and just love to hear their own voices)...these are USUALLY the movies mentioned.
