I really enjoyed A Haunted House & was expecting to enjoy this one as well but taking out Essence Atkins & replacing her with Jamie Pressly destroyed A Haunted House 2.It was NOT as good as I hoped it would be.I was beyond disappointed.Essence Atkins & Marlon Wayans worked well together in the 1st movie so I don't know why she was only in 2 scenes.Essence Atkins should've had Jamie Pressley's role & Jamie Pressley should've had Essence Atkins 2 scenes or even better, been completely taken out of the movie.Jamie Pressly felt so out of place & I found absolutely nothing funny about her at all in this sequel.Marlon Wayans was hilarious.I don't think there was a scene that he was in that I didn't like.He was the best thing about A Haunted House 2.Gabriel Iglesias' scenes were just as funny.He killed it.Cedric The Entertainer's Father Williams was the one I found to be truly disappointing.His character in part 1 was hilarious but in part 2, It felt forced & overdone.It's worth watching just for the scenes with Marlon Wayans & Gabriel Iglesias or you just need something to watch.Whatever they were trying to do with A Haunted House 2, failed
