A gripping space film that pulls me in naturally

I mean the word has a power. Gravity, has a meaning. The film adds some power. Bullock gets the job done. A perfect tailor made role for her. Lets all think on it now. Is this film going to get Oscars! Well may be or may be not. Come on Hollywood, praise such different movies where one devotes total attention for the swift and visual thriller. Gravity has it all. In the space you are caught as gravity of earth is pulling you and Bullock a space engineer with her head Clooney (cameo role) are trying hard to land safe and also keep some hope as the dawn is coming. When debris strikes, we get the nerves up. There is a charm in making a convincing plot, a really digestible character development, some smart use of visual effects. Steven Price’s thrilling score adds gravitas to the film’s plot. Bullock has her story to tell and Mr Cuaron (From Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban) infests much time for her to realize that she still has that tiny bit of hope to survive. Thanks for incorporating that psychological element at the right time. Cuaron gets my attention. A simple dialog driven film that lacks enough earth shattering action set pieces like Michael Bay or Roland Emmerich. Yet this film puts me on the edge. This is a film that serves some tense thrill moments with right amount of visual support. You hear the story of Bullock and you will definitely feel for her. I was a bit disappointed with such kind of anti climactic ending. But anyways, one might easily predict the next to come after the last frame. But that should have been included. The emotional story that was narrated needed such kind of ending, where I could smile fuller. But little joy in there as I felt, Oh Is this the end! Did the film seriously end there? Shocking for me for few seconds. But hey what a film it was. Gravity soars up, pulls you in it and makes everyone proud of a film of such uniqueness and yet so simply taken. This is a film to watch in theaters and 3D use is perfect. That extra dimensional effect can serve the need. Spend some extra bucks and enjoy the thrilling ride of Gravity as Cuaron, Bullock, Clooney ( cameo role) and Price pulls you over and over until it ends. “Gravitas”. I am soaked into it. A masterpiece space film.
