Not Down with the Sickness

Keep in mind this is the 2008 Romero remake...directed by Steve Miner(Halloween H20, Warlock, House, Friday the 13th Parts 2 and 3) and sadly this movie did not hold up to those movies. This movie seemed very awkward for a "zombie" flick. More disease and people getting sick. More bad things happening because smart people are doing dumb things and making mistakes. This just didn't have the feel of needing to be done. Dawn of the Dead....Good. Land of the Dead...Good. Because both had done different things and went about the zombie aspects kind of differently....the "evolved" a bit. In this movie they were just odd....they were acting very strangely...and walking on the walls and ceilings...which made them more bug like than creature like.
I honestly don't know what to really write because while it was entertaining, there was nothing that really made it stand out and nothing stuck with me.
