This is a movie that they frequently played on TNT and TBS or WGN all the time after it was released on video.
Honestly, I just think it's entertaining to see LA erupt into flames and things get destroyed by means other than a riot or an earthquake.
Around the same time Dante's Peak was released. Between the two, I honestly feel this is a better movie.
