Dark but makes sense

I may be biased as being a fan of Evan Rachel Wood; but I enjoyed this movie as off-the-wall as it was.
The dark comedy aspects really have you do one loud laugh and then stare at the screen asking yourself "What?!" It's incredibly odd at times it's good.
Besides Evan, there is a great remaining cast. Ron Livingston (Swingers, Little Black Book), James Woods (Vampires, The Virgin Suicides), Jane Krakowski (Elfie), Selma Blair (Cruel Intentions, Hellboy), Jamie King (Sin City, Bulletproof Monk). Followed by a number of various other familiar faces within the supporting roles as well.
James Woods performance stands out as the over-the-top; in your face comic relief. I never initially saw him much as a comedic actor; but this man pulls it off incredibly well. If you want to see a good comedy cameo with Mr. Woods. Watch Scary Movie 2. Well, just watch his cameo and then don't waste the rest of your time with thr rest of that movie.
This movie is intelligent, dark, subtly humorous, and keeps you interested in how this is going to work out.
A great satire on society, the media, life in LA and Beverly Hills, and human nature.
The turn of events in this movie as just astonishing. Pay attention to this movie when watching or you may get lost.
