A view of The Great Depression, that acknowledges the despair, but gives it an upbeat soundtrack. It's thought provoking, in that it highlights the bleakness of the time for many, but contrasts it against the kind of music being written during that 1930s time frame. It's sort of a social commentary. I enjoyed it, it sort of hit me on an intellectual level.
