I appreciate the CGI and the amazing voice talent of the movie (Jim Carey blew me away, and I usually can't stand him). I also appreciated how they actually included many of the smaller details of the book. I don't know if I would necessarily recommend this movie for families with smaller children. It was actually kind of dark in my opinion.
