Over-rated "worthy" Hollywood project in which everyone involved clearly had one eye on the Oscars. For me it is all a little contrived and unconvincing; I never forget that Raymond is just Dustin Hoffman acting and Tom Cruise is just, well, Tom Cruise. It does have moments of comic charm though.
