Serious head trauma, what a barrel of laughs, eh? In this somewhat tasteless rip-off of Groundhog Day, the rom works, but the com doesn't. As a result, the first half is exactly like every other crass Adam Sandler vehicle (ie irritating and unfunny). Only when the romance blossoms with the endearingly sweet Drew Barrymore does it engage at all. But not once did it make me laugh.
