Marmaduke (Owen Wilson) is a clumsy but loveable huge Great Dane that lives with the Winslow family. After the Winslows make the move from Kansas to Orange County, Marmaduke embraces change and tries to find himself some friends but he soon finds that making friends isn't so easy when you stand out.
Marmaduke is introduced to the other dogs on his first trip to the dog park. Emma Stone is the mutt Mazie, and she takes Marmaduke for a tour of the dog park and explains who all the others are. (It is just like a high school transfer student's first day at school.) Kiefer Sutherland is the voice of Bosco, the Rotweiler that is the "alpha" male, and at some point we know there will be a showdown between the overly large but gentle Marmaduke and the tough guy Bosco who is very controlling and jealous when it comes to his girlfriend named Jezebel (voiced by Fergie).
It's hard to hate a movie that makes your family laughs. And of course the movie is full of dogs, and who doesn't have a soft spot for man's best friend?
