Ohio high school senior Scott Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz) is your everyday American guy who learns his girlfriend, Fiona (Kristen Kreuk), has been cheating right under his nose for the past year with Donny (Matt Damon) a well pierced punk rocker. To add insult to injury, Scott shows up at a graduation party later that evening and spots Fiona frolicking on stage with Donny who is singing his signature tune called "Scotty Doesn't Know" in the front of the entire school “I can't believe he's so trusting, when I'm with his girlfriend thrusting' is the gist of the thing.
Predictably, Scotty drowns his sorrows in alcohol and logs onto the Internet to e-mail his Berlin-based cyberspace pen pal Mieke who Scotty believes is a guy. When Mieke suggests they hook up for the summer, a drunken, homophobic Scott sends a nasty e-mail. Incredibly, Scott has no idea Mieke is really a red hot babe until after his obnoxious little brother informs him of his blunder. Our forlorn hero tries to e-mail an apology, only to discover Mieke has blocked his mail. Scott's best friend Cooper ((Jacob Pitts) suggests Scott fly to Berlin and straighten things out with Mieke.
Scott and Cooper then pose as couriers to get cheap plane fare and fly to England where they run afoul of a gang of British soccer hooligans led by former soccer star Vinnie Jones leading some raucous Manchester United fans. Many more comical misadventures have them calling for backup in the form of twins Jenny (Michelle Trachtenberg) and Jamie (Travis Webster) to help them find Mieke.
"Eurotrip" is absolutely hysterical with lots of unexpected twists. So if you have no objection to seeing hot babes, boobs and making out, this is your kind of movie although seeing a bunch of fat naked guys at the nude beach was by far the worst visual of the movie. This film contains scenes of frontal male & female nudity and is quite full of sexual innuendo which, I think, just adds to the hilarity of the move. I found the Pope scene very amusing, but I also understand it can be quite offensive to those of the Catholic religion. Lucy Lawless is just inspired as well as the creepy randy Italian man on the train: "Mi Scusi, Mi Scusi!" Hahahahaha!
