"Live and die by this day"

A commercial airplane filled with oil workers who know each other are on their way home from an Alaskan oil field, when the airplane crashes in the harsh arctic tundra without warning leaving seven survivors. Concluding no one will be out looking for them, these rough manly men who live off of booze and hard labor march towards the woods looking for civilization while being stalked by a pack of angry and blood thirsty wolves defending their territory. I say 'angry' and not, 'hungry' because the wolves don't seem to be hunting them for food. Every time a character is picked off, they only seem to maul them to death then leave.
Neeson and the rest of the cast performed moderately well, creating believable, characters, but I found the film to be grim and depressing to the point of suicide. Also I was expecting a bit more of a fight from this bunch of misfits.
