The Melodramatic Love Saga Continues!

Continuing where the second film ends this one tells the third stage of Bella's (Kristen Stewart) decision making process. She's still tossing and turning between her vampire boyfriend Edward, portrayed by Robert Pattinson (as the controlling boyfriend who won't allow Bella to see her friends) and Jacob (the ever-shirtless Taylor Lautner) who try as he might, will never exit the "friend zone." Whilst Bella is still intent on becoming a vampire, Edward is doing his best to put her off the idea. Things are further complicated by the vengeful Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard), who with the now-undead Riley (the coldly menacing Xavier Samuel) as her right-hand man, is raising a newborn vampire army, a ravenous and ultra-strong force which is intended to destroy Bella and Edward. In order to avoid bloodshed, the vampire clan team up with Jacob's wolf pack. But just what role is the Volturi, led by the silent in a very sadistic way Jane (Dakota Fanning), playing in this game?
The bottom line is, if you've hated the previous movies, and you've got a thing against tame, fang-less and sparkly vampires, don't watch it. You should probably be hailing 'Vampires Suck'. Personally I find the TV show "The Vampire Diaries" to be far superior to Twilight in almost every way. It has the same premise, more or less (mortal girl torn between her love for two supernatural beings), except every week is a roller-coaster ride, which is really enjoyable, and you completely understand why everyone is into the lead girl. Nevertheless this is a fun escape for a few hours and it is good to see a Hollywood franchise attempting to cater for the female viewers by placing all that male flesh on display as opposed to the typical routine of using the female body as a commodity. At last they have begun to broaden their horizons lol.
