A feel-good romantic comedy!

50 First Dates" is about a guy named Henry Roth (played by Adam Sandler) who’s got it all, a good job, great friends and the skills to winning any girl he wants. Problem is; he's afraid of commitment. He meets a girl, scores and then makes an excuse to break up with them. Then, one day, he meets Lucy and they hit it off. Henry believes he has found the girl he can finally settle down with. The problem is she's got short-term memory loss that lasts about 24 hours and everyday she forgets she ever met Henry.
So now Henry must devise a way to make Lucy remember him and win her over every single day which he does by initiating a series of wild and imaginative stunts. The premise is unrealistic, obviously, but the characters are so colorful and likable that you are willing to suspend your disbelief and become involved in the story. Rob Schiender was very funny as Ula. The guy just cracks me up and Barrymore is her usual cute and adorable self.
