Cute!

Ally Darling (Anna Faris) is a recently fired marketing executive who’s becoming concerned that she might never find "Mr. Right." Her sister Daisy (Ari Graynor) is getting married to the love of her life and her mother Ava (Meet the Parents' Blythe Danner) seems insistent that Ally move forward with her life as well.

During a ride home on the subway, she reads an article that concludes if a woman has slept with more than twenty men there is very little chance that she will get married. She worries about her seemingly large number of 19 and makes a promise to herself that the next man she gets with will be her true love. After a night out with the girls she is devastated to wake up next to her ex-boss and jerk Roger (Joel McHale). She decides there and then to look back on all the men she’s been with to see if any of them are worth pursuing for a further relationship only to realize that it's not as simple as she thought it would be.

Ally enlists the help of her next door neighbor, the hunky Colin Shea who comes from a family of cops (Chris Evans with an even bigger sleep number) who beds a new woman every night in exchange for an apartment to hide in while he waits for his previous nights' conquest to vacate in the morning. As Ally spends more time with Colin they bond over Chinese food, he tries to convince her that she shouldn't worry about her "number", and encourages her to continue to make the clay sculptures she so loves so passionately. Awwww well that would have synched the deal for me as Chris Evans is charming, likable and totally HOT!!

Instead conflict arises when Colin actually locates Ally's high school sweetheart, the mysterious and enigmatic Jake Adams (Dave Annable). Jake is from a rich family and is now an international benefactor and seems ideal for our heroine. Colin hides this from Ally, but she uncovers the conspiracy and goes ballistic on poor Colin. Who will our indecisive heroine choose now? The rich bachelor whom her mom adores or the easy going Colin who likes her for who she really is???

This is still an entertaining ride despite being predictable. Loved the basketball strip "H-O-R-S-E" scene and the one where she pretends to be British.
