The gorgeous Halle Berry stars as Josie Potenza, the unhappy trophy wife of a rich middle-aged man Tony Potenza (Christopher McDonald) who also has a drinking problem. Josie feels he is not spending enough time with her but does not want to leave him as he made her sign a prenuptial agreement which does not rule in her favor. Whilst drunk she confides in a in a total stranger Cole Wilson (Peter Greene) at a bar that she has fantasies about her husband’s demise. Complications ensue as the helpful stranger takes her up and decides her fantasies should become reality….. He ends up killing her husband and warns her if she reports him to the police he will tell them she hired him to murder Tony, and demands $30,000 for his silence. Josie is forced to stay quiet because it just so happens she was having an affair with a younger man Jake Golden (Clive Owen). A decent thriller with enough twists and turns to hold your interest.
