As thin as an illusion

A moderately-successful drama that plays with the audience's heads in a self-congradulatory fashion; the final revelations (done in a Usual Suspects sort of way) explain very little else than the script thinks it's cleverer than the audience. Putting up with that would be a real illusion. I saw this film at the Sundance premiere sitting relatively close to actors Paul Giamatti and Jessica Biel, and even they didn't seem to enjoy it very much. Final Grade: C+
