Junk Mail that won't be thrown away

A peculiar black comedy whose lead character is an unlikable schlub, who has no qualms about stealing mail and letting himself into a stranger's apartment and rummaging through their personal items. Oddly enough, once he becomes obsessed with a hearing-impaired woman on his route, he somehow becomes her personal savior as he rescues her from a suicide attempt then protects her from a violent criminal who is using her. It's a one-of-a kind movie which grew on me the longer it played and was terribly funny at times. I can recommend it to those who can appreciate offbeat, dark films. Final grade: B
