At times sickly sentimental, this comedy about relationships doesn’t always hit its targets (which are obvious) and it has extra subplots which feel awkward (like Ed Flanders), but it has its moments of honesty and humor and Quaid and Garofalo are hilarious, particularly during their date from hell. Final Grade: B-
