You could write this off as another cheese ball comedy from the 80s but it would be a mistake. Not only is it a fairly timeless comedy (the score and some of the references are a bit dated) but it is a legitimate piece of science fiction as well. Plus who doesn't enjoy screaming "1.21 gigwatts!!!!"
