Even Pigeons Go To Heaven is an interesting short, to say the least. Whether it's trying to be a drama or a comedy is anyone's guess, but it's quite a piece of work anyway.
The plot is about an elderly man who is urged by a priest to buy a piece of machinery that will guarantee his arrival at heaven (as opposed to the alternative).
It's bizzare yes, but sometimes funny, and sometimes dark.
Also, the musical score is the best for an animated short in recent, or even long-term memory.
This isn't the kind of film that anyone will enjoy, but it's a treat for those who will.
