Rocky with Robots

This movie is basically rocky with robots. The last fight and story is the same as rocky in too many ways almost ithe same, also its one of the most corniest movies i have seen in a long time. many times i wanted to reach for the sick bucket. saying that kids will like it. and it was well made.
The story is very simple jackman is a selfish guy who fights robots on remote control for cash but is down on his luck and owes money. his ex dies and he ends up looking after his son who he hasn't seen in 11 years. the kid finds a robot ( totally ridiculus ) and they end up going up against the best robot out there ( think rocky )
The first meeting with his kid was so unrealistic both on his reaction and attitude and the kid. there was no coming together as father and son shown expect through their times with the robots. it lacked depth and full of cliche
The robots themselves were great and the film was well made and its worth watching. kids will like it. but its a weak story and extremely corny and predictable. .
