As a springsteen fan i was obviously interested in seeing this. Its a documentary based on clips sent in by fans and their stories of why they are fans and their appreciation for the boss the bruce springsteen.
The problem in asking for people to send in their feelings by video is you attract the wrong types.
most of the clips in this were not good with many being weird and creepy and sending the wrong message.
not all some were good and real good stories but given the amount of fans throughout the world its strange they used so little decent clips of fans.
in between the oddness is clips of springsteen performing with most of the clips of him being you tube bootleg footage or old music videos. a really bad choice of clips and poor quality. which just shows the guy who made this isn't even a fan himself.
a fan could of made a much better doc film than this from his laptop. The doc fails to add anything to springsteens legacy or to get into the real reason behind the fanbase and his music.
The only good thing about this except for a few short touching stories is the bonus footage of springsteen live in hyde park shown at the end.
what springsteen needs is a famous director a proper documentary with pro shot footage. not you tube clips mashed together and weird fans
