Nice sentiment but its just a bit to silly

A fantasy movie starring russel crowe. clollin farrell and a horse . basically this is a love story that involves fantasy and demons. i wanted to love it i really did. i liked the trailer but it just wasn't very good.
The horse was just silly , the story didn't explain itself you had to guess. russel crowe was ok as the demon but not sure why he took this part. the whole situation with him and his henchmen was just silly. collin farrel is always good and so were the other cast but the story just wasn't developed. the ending and pay of was a interesting twist i guess but it wasn't the pay of you longed for. i liked the sentiment of the movie but it would of been better delivered with a complete re-write. the scenery wasn't that good either but the horse really was so silly. it made me think this is basically a tv movie. i should mention jennifer connelly who was great none of the actors are at fault in this. its just one of those films that doesn't work .maybe it looked better on paper . who knows. but its average at best.
