Dont mess with the boogeyman

Keanu reeves returns as a former hitman (john wick) known once as the boogeyman who got out of the killing game some years ago as in enjoying life with his wife. when she gets ill and dies she leaves him one last present which is a cute puppy. unfortuantly keanu runs into the son of a the russian gangster he used to work for and the kid not only steals his car but kills his dog the one last thing he had to live for.
This sets him back to his old ways as he seeks revenge .
There is a serious body count in this movie it must surely be one of the most killings ever. it makes rambo look tame with the aount of people he kills. it has that matrix feel to a lot of the scenes where there seems a endless amount of guys just coming out of nowhere to be shot. its much like a jason staham movie /liam neeson in its style and contex. its well made and keanu is good but really its not much different to his matrix quiet kick ass type character.
he doesn't mess about in this movie not much talk just bang bang. except for two strange scenes one when he finally gets the chance to kill the son and the scene with the female hitgirl. which both go against everything we have seen so far but hey its action movie so i guess we can leave the brain at home a little bit
overall its well made has some good actors in it as is good kick ass entertainment. if you like movies like taken and statam movies . you should like this
for me personally it wasn't as good as i thought it was going to be. there was just to many people getting killed to take it all in and feel real and i wanted and more dialogue from keanu he has played the hardly says much guy for too long now.
i could rate it 3 stars for ok but i,ll go for 4 as its pretty good its just not great like i hoped,
