The Dark Knight shines brightly

At this point, I don't know what else I can write about "The Dark Knight" that hasn't already been said. I did love it just as much as everyone else, and maybe one little example would shed a different light on the reason why.
When is the last time you've seen a movie that had even one moment that made you say, "Wow"? They all seem so over the top these days, with fantastic stunts and special effects. They've become almost commonplace.
But there's a simple scene -- heck, tiny PART of a scene -- in "The Dark Knight" that made me say, "Wow". It's during Batman's confrontation with The Joker on the streets of Gotham City. He is on his "Batcycle", racing down the street. He's heading straight towards a building, but at the last minute starts to ride up the wall, then flips/turns around and heads the other direction.
It happens so fast, and it's really very simple. But it looked absolutely amazing!
There are many other reasons to love this movie. I can't recall every part of the dissection I gave it in the days following. Perhaps Heath Ledger drew the audience at first, but what a rich package they discovered when they arrived in theaters!
