Long, slow "Rain"

This was certainly not as bad as I remembered from when I first saw it at The Trails drive-in in Enid, Oklahoma.
Still, it's largely slow-moving and a tad confusing. And the make-up of the melting faces is not as cool as I thought it was when I was a kid.
Perhaps it's more interesting today due to the "all-star" cast including: Ernest Borgnine, Tom Skerritt, Eddie Albert and William Shatner. But I was watching for him and I still didn't see John Travolta.
