It took me a while to get into this one. And I watched it over several "sessions". But, you know, I kind of liked it.
It's beautifully-filmed, to be sure. And actually has some laugh-out-loud scenes. It's sort of timeless as a period piece, yet does not show its age as a '70's movie.
Darned if I can't remember many of the story details a few weeks later, but it's the atmosphere that remains.
