Drop Dead Funny

This is one of my favorite comedies! Probably because I like Christopher Guest movies, I thought this one was great.
Done as a pretend documentary, a small town town in Minnesota prepares to host it's annual Mt. Rose American Teen Princess pageant. Although there are only eight contestants, one would think this is the actual Miss America pageant for all the fuss and importance it's given by the town.
The contestants are so funny with their wide variety of personalities, looks and really bad talent. The judges are hysterical and clearly unqualified to judge anything. Kirstie Alley is great as the woman in charge of the pageant and the mother of one of the contestants. Allison Janney is my favorite as the wild and promiscuous friend of Kirsten Dunst's family.
I've seen it at least 30 times and still find it hilarious.
