2nd half is where it took off...

Be bold and state your opinion...Is what i keep telling myself as i only gave this film 2 stars as everyone else on this planet seems to be rating it higher. Truth be told that i was only just starting to get into this film when Pi (Suraj Sharma) was thrown into the lifeboat so that leaves about half the movie that i found interesting. I will give kudos for the cinematography here as it was nothing short of breathtaking! Also amazing use of CGI for the tiger oddly named Richard Parker as at times i had to look ever so closely to see if they used a real tiger or not? Life Of Pi is my last film to watch on my trek to see all the films currently nominated for next sunday night Oscar award presentation. So yes i am only giving this 2/4 stars as the second half in my opinion is where the movie truly begins.
