An Unfortunately Bad Film

I have become a huge fan of Wes Anderson over the years. 'The Royal Tenenbaums' and 'Moonrise Kingdom' are two of my favorite movies. I also really enjoyed 'Rushmore'. I was excited to view another one of his films. I was severely disappointed by this movie though. I rarely neglect to finish a movie halfway through, but this was one of those films I could just couldn't handle anymore. The movie is forced. I felt like I was watching a 'Royals' spinoff movie. A of the characters were extremely irritating and not creative. While he rides the pony quite well, with this film, Anderson proved to me that he is a one-trick pony. All of his movies follow the same formula, and this one failed to extract the same emotion that his better works were able to. I unfortunately do not suggest this film.
