Visually stunning, and aims for the heart. This richly detailed film is sprinkled with clever humor while carrying a strong message.
You find yourself attached to these little machines who manage to strongly emote and express themselves with little to no dialogue, which is no easy task these days. Many of the beautiful visuals leave a stain, such as Wall-E & Eve's waltz out in space while Sigourney Weaver defines "dancing" to the awe-struck Captain. Creating these memorable moments, both unique and adorable, sets Pixar far above any of the animation studios today, it's almost their trademark.
(And only Pixar can make a cockroach cute)
It could just be my love of sci-fi, but I enjoyed the idea of the robots having bigger hearts than all the humans in the movie combined.
