A Crime Drama needs special additives to the film to make it work. You need intelligence present in the writing, great actors, an interesting plot that'll make you think. Drama, style, and realism. Se7en, takes all these components of a great drama, and combines them for what is a modern masterpiece in moviemaking.
Directed by David Fincher, who directed FIGHT CLUB I might add, this film puts you in the action in a story about Det.Somerset(Freeman), a retiring detective from the force, and Det.Mills(Pitt), The Detective taking Somerset's current job. When they are sent on seperate cases, they realize it has formed as one, and a serial killer is 5 kills away from his masterpiece. John Doe(Spacey), is a serial killer commiting murders according to the Seven Deadly Sins.
Somerset and Mills start working harder to find the Killer, who has nothing sane about him. Studying on Textbooks and Poetry At The Library, They use the books in order to see what Doe's going to reach for next.
This film is definetly worth checking out and is a must-see for Movie Lovers, like myself.
Acting is great, Story and Twist are phenomenal, Characters were perfectly fit, This movie's done everything right.
