TPB Gets Clean, Only For The Fans.

Mostly, it'll be fans laughing and having a good time with Trailer Park Boys: The Movie. I've seen american critics bash the movie because it's just so lowbrow, stupid and completely raunchy. The tv show believe it or not takes it alot more over the top then it's big first silver-screen film. I was surprised how clean it could be. Trailer Park Boys has become hit across Canada, and is gathering new fans in the U.S, making the show bigger than ever now.
The movie follows the boys as they release from Jail, and are free to come back to their beloved trailer park. Ricky want's to think about getting back together with Lucy and caring for Trinity, while considering doing 'The Big Dirty'. Explained by his fellow convicts, the Big Dirty is a huge final crime you pull off perfectly, with no witnesses, so that you can live your life rich with no worries. Julian and Bubbles want to stick to the basics, and aren't sure about going all out just yet. Ricky wants in on some money, and Bubbles wants his demolished home replaced, due to Mr.Lahey's intoxicated behaviour. So Ricky, Julian, Bubbles, and Cory & Trevor, set out to accomplish the biggest robbery they've done yet.
The movie has it's moments, and can be funny at times, but fails to reach the ongoing hilarity from the show. The show was non-stop crime-comedy, and could be watched just for fun. Now that the quality is clear, the movie looks professional, it's lost it's touch. The original guerilla style would have been perfect. The movie was alot cleaner than the usual tv episodes, and to tell the truth, things didn't get crazy enough. Cory & Trevor, J-Roc and T, Lucy, Trinity, Lahey and Randy, are back for Trailer Park Boys: The Movie, and it is quite a laugh. Still not as good as the telivision show, but good enough for me I guess.
Even more 'psyched' for Trailer Park Boys: Countdown To Liquor Day.
