Absolutely and Completely Astonishing.

In 2005 Batman Begins shocked and surprised me. I wasn't even expecting it to be what it was. Anxiously awaiting The Dark Knight, I already had huge expectations. I was scared that they were a bit too high. What if this movie was over-hyped. Well yes, it was hyped highly. But MY GOD DID IT DESERVE IT. Come July 17, All my expectations for The Dark Knight had been Exceeded for MILES. Christopher Nolan had all the characters and writing done to perfection. He made the story fit into a 2 hour and 40 minute masterpiece. The Writing is amazing, as well as a great cast of actors who did excellent playing their roles. Every single one of them. Barely any CGI plagued this film to death, but with lots of real effects the authentic feel of a crime drama becomes present along with the story. Heath Ledger portrays the best Joker we've seen, and anyone willing to match him would be absolutely insane. His performance was highly anticipated, but then again, the hype was deserved. Because he did a damn good job. This is by far the best superheroe film ever created. I don't think any comic book hero epic can top this film. Keep em' coming, but they will never exceed the brilliance and power of the Dark Knight.
