This movie was very different to how I thought it would be. Half the people I know think it is boring and the other half think it is the most romantic movie ever. I didn't really think either. The movie is thoroughly captivating, definitely not boring, and it really is romantic, just not to that extreme.
It is about a beautiful young woman who is engaged to a heartless, wealthy man. They board the Titanic, for its first voyage, but she realizes that she is not satisfied with her life. Then she meets a poor, young man who she soon falls in love with.
This movie isn't really old fashioned at all, which was what I was expecting. This was the first movie I have watched starring Leonardo DiCaprio's, and now I want to watch more of his movies, he's great!
I have been meaning to watch this movie for ages, and I FINALLY got around to it. So, if you haven't watched this movie yet, maybe because everyone you know has said its crap, then watch it anyway, don't take their word for it!
