Not as good as I expected.

Now, I must admit, I haven't seen a lot of westerns, however, I had very high hopes for this one. But, I just couldn't get into it. I had a hard time caring for any of the characters. Now, that's not to say that this is a bad film, but, I don't think it quite earns the praise that is constatnly heaped up on it. Better westerns, Unforgiven (1992), No Country for Old Men, and one slightly below the radar, Winchester '73.
